Aloha! My name is Natalie, also known as Nat for short, as I am physically! I really cannot wait for this incredible life changing experience in the Dominican helping build not just a house, but a home for a family who needs it a lot more than we can imagine. I’m 18 years old and have no idea where my life is headed and I can’t wait to find out. There is such a crazy week coming up and there is so much going through my head like how many awesome people I’m going to get the privilege of meeting and how sore I’m going to be at the end of the week! Can’t wait team, let’s get’r done!
I’m 16 years old and I’m in grade 11 at London Central Secondary School.
I’ve played hockey for about 11 years and I currently play hockey for the London Junior Knights Major Midget Green AA team.
I have an older brother named Jesse who also goes to Central High School and is in grade 12, I have a pet dog whose name is Jazz (a weimaraner).
In the future I hope to go into a science-oriented career that I’m always enthusiastic about.
This will be my first time visiting Dominican and being on a build, my expectations for this build are to take away a lot of gratitude and really appreciate how lucky I am to have the life that I have. I’m also very excited and anxious to try and help other people who aren’t as financially as fortunate as I am, and I look forward to having a competitive baseball game while I’m there.
I also think that I’ll have a great time experiencing the new culture while I’m on the build, like trying new foods and learning their customs.
I am a very hard worker and a very competitive person so I think that I will be a great asset to the team and hope to do whatever I can to help the team accomplish our goal for the trip.
I hope to accomplish the team’s goal while in Dominican and take in all the experiences that come with it.

Hey, I’m Jesse...I’m Jack’s brother, and am hoping to get a great experience out of this trip. Hopefully I can help people and have fun too.I don’t have any building skill, so this will be a new experience, trying something new!

Hey there! My name is TJ Crncich and I currently attend grade 11 at Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School! Some say I can't pay attention, but when it comes to important things, i am totally focused! When this trip was brought to my attention I was very interested! On this trip, I hope that I develop a new perspective on life! This would be my first global village trip, but in the future I hope to attend many more! Our team leader Michelle Burlock, has told me many interesting things about the locals in each place she's build in, most of them positive! I know everyone on the trip very well, which means no one will hold back their thoughts about the experience! I have to go pack for it now! It has been totally worth all the fundraising! Ciao.!

My name is Sarah Dunbar, and I am 17 years old. I’m a small town girl who comes from a large family of seven. I have three older brothers, and one younger sister, so I’ll be the one breaking up the Crncich and Lewis sibling rivalries. Last June I graduated from CCH, and currently I am working full time. Next year I will be studying at UWO and one day hope to become a doctor, therefore I will probably be in charge of making sure everyone is healthy, and that Renee gets her crazy meds daily. I am looking forward to trying new things, meeting new people, and challenging myself. I am a positive person, and a strong leader. I am very excited to be a part of the Youth team build in the Dominican.
Hey there! My name is Jaysen Bisset, I am 17 years old and currently attending Mother Teresa Secondary school. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to travel over to the Dominican this March break with the Habitat team. I have been to the Dominican before so I understand the challenges these people go through each day and understand how much they need our help. I look forward to helping a family in need, a family that struggles daily to put food on the table, water in their mouths, and clothes on their backs. To me this build means helping others in need, learning, and experiencing new things. Some of the activities I look forward to the most on this trip are the day to day building of the home, the baseball game, attempting to have some conversations in Spanish, and hanging out with the Dominican kids. I am also quite happy to be going on this trip with such an awesome team, I am sure we will all have tons of fun and come home with lots of stories and a whole different outlook on life. Cheers to a great trip ahead!
My name is Jake Zupancic and I am currently living in Ilderton Ontario along with my parents and 2 sisters. I am a grade 10 student attending Medway highschool. For this build in San Juan I hope to put forth my best effort to make this experience the best it can be for everyone. I am a good hands on worker and believe i can put myself to good use to help as much on this build as possible. Overall I am hoping this build will be fun and go smoothly and be something great to remember.
Hello my name is Bev and I reside in Ilderton a little town north of London. My husband is Frank and I am mother to Josh, Jake, Jill and Jenny. I am a UWO employee of 23 years and love working with the students. This is the first build for myself and my son Jake. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to share such a great experience together. I plan to bring lots of energy, enthusiasum and hard working fun to the build site everyday. I would hope that the villagers of San Juan will have everlasting great memories of the team that came from Canada to lend a helping hand!

Hey there, I'm Coleen.
I've worked for Habitat for 7 years as their Resource Dev. Mgr. and this is my second international build. I am Natalie and TJ's mom, Sarah's aunt and will assume the position of den mother to the rest of our brood. I have some building skills but most are social! (Michelle and I can build a house, not to worry) I'm looking forward to practicing my new moves on the dance floor....sorry TJ, I will be embarrassing you yet again...it's my job!
Hi...I'm Michelle.....In real life, I'm an International Recruiter at Western but in my Habitat life, I'm chief balloon maker, kid's dance choreographer and a quasi first aider. (although I pass out at the sight of blood) I can't wait to head to Dominican Republic with such an amazing group...who are enthusiastic, humorous, a bit quirky and now they can even speak Spanish and meringue!" (thanks to Norma, Sandy and Dave!)
Hi Jake, Bev, and your amazing building team. We are glad you arrived safely and it looks like you are settling into this open-armed community so well already!
